All children deserve to grow up in safe, loving families. Unfortunately, we live in a world full of broken relationships where fatherlessness is on the rise, more kids are entering the foster care system and childhood trauma is becoming more common. This is a complex issue that requires a collective response.
As a church, we've decided to partner with The Alliance, a local nonprofit that works to protect kids and strengthen families around the Greater Sacramento Area. They work alongside agencies, nonprofits, churches and community service groups to make a difference by meeting needs, providing trauma-informed education and helping people get involved.
If you have a heart to serve vulnerable kids in our church and community, please join us on January 29th for an interest meeting where we'll explore how we, as a church, can be part of the solution.
