Placer Food Bank provides hunger relief to El Dorado, Nevada and Placer counties. Their mission is to sustain communities by nourishing families experiencing food insecurity, educating the community about hunger, and advocating for hunger relief.

VOLUNTEER
Are you ready to hop in the driver's seat? We've seeking drivers to assist with local food donation pick-ups at 4 stores and then deliver to those in need at The Salt Mine in Lincoln.
WHEN
Saturdays 9am - 12pm - You can volunteer as much or as little you like.
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to lift 30 pounds
Current California Driver's License
Able to provide a DMV printout
TRAINING - SAFETY FIRST!
Complete training provided. If you're interested in being a Volunteer Truck Driver - RSVP HERE. The actual training date is not decided, but it will be in June/July. Once we have enough sign-ups, we'll start training. Once you've been trained, you'll be able to access the driving volunteer opportunity shifts.
