St. John’s Shelter Program for Women and Children assists families in transitioning from crisis to self-sustainability. Families begin their journey in the structured environment at the shelter, developing the vision, hope, road map and the tools to break the cycle of dependence.
OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE:
Let’s give the staff at St. John’s a break! Join us in preparing, cooking and serving a meal for the women at the Shelter. NO CLEAN-UP – That is taken care of by the ladies at the center! In December, there will be two shifts of volunteers. Shift one cooks and serves. Shift two will work the arts and crafts table with the kids.
