We need volunteer helpers each hour to assist the Vitalant staff during this blood drive. The volunteers will be assisting the Blood Bank staff by checking in the donors from a list and helping with no touch temperature checks and giving snacks and beverages when they are finished giving blood.

Steps we are taking to keep donors and staff safe.
- We are requiring donors to bring and wear their own mask when donating.
- We are requiring appointments to reduce crowding.
- Appointments are limited to reduce waiting.
- We are changing our setup to meet social distancing requirements.
- Vitalant staff follow rigorous safety and disinfection protocols at blood drives and donation centers.
- We are taking temperatures upon entry of the donation center/blood drive.
- Hand sanitizer and/or handwashing stations readily available.
- Any staff member/volunteer who is not feeling well is asked to stay home.
- Donors need to be free of flu and cold like symptoms.
