Open Closet Food Delivery at Bethlehem Tower in Santa Rosa
We deliver Boxes of food, bags of produce and other items directly to a family’s apartment each month. At Bethlehem Tower we currently serve about 85 families.
What: Deliver a box of food, a bag of produce and a bag of non-food items to the recipient’s apartment door. If you are comfortable to chat with the person, we do encourage the interaction.
Where: Bethlehem Tower on Tupper Ave, Santa Rosa.
When: We deliver one time per month, always on the 2nd Saturday. The length of time delivering can be from 15 minutes to as long as your chat time is!
Why: We want to bless these folks with our presence, smiles and kind words as well as the food and other goodies.
We are looking for folks that can commit to a schedule of one time per month and a minimum of two months. Annually, that’s only 12 times per year! Please note: The food boxes weigh about 25lbs. If you would like to be a substitute from time to time as needed, please email Dennis Edwards.
